Healthy Habits going into 2020

As we are going into the new year, I have been looking back on 2019 and I have come to realize that I formed some habits that I believe made a positive impact on how my day went. I plan to carry these habits into 2020 and add some new ones to them.

Habit #1

Wake up an hour earlier than you usually do. I don't believe that it is healthy for one to wake up at a ridicules time that they are not used to at all, however, I think that an hour is a perfect switch. Waking up earlier can help with one's productivity, getting the day started earlier which means getting work done earlier, etc. If you get your day started before anyone else does your getting work done while they are sleeping.

Habit #2

Not going on your phone for the first hour of the day. getting your day started without electronics or scrolling through your phone will make such a big impact on your mood and outlook for that day. I have been doing this for like last month, and I have seen such a positive change in my attitude during the day and my productivity. It is so important to start your morning on a good note and with no interruptions while you go through your morning routine. It's going to affect how the rest of your day plays out.

Habit #3

Get out and exercise. You don't need to be doing a hardcore exercise every week or have a gym membership, doing small things like getting out and walking a few miles makes a difference. incorporating physical activity into your daily routine helps with both your mental and psychical mood, also has a long term effect on your metabolism.

Habit #4

Staying focused in the now, keeping your daily to-do list small. When we fill out daily schedule and planning and we jam-pack our schedule it makes it less likely that we are going to get everything done. Keep the big important tasks and focus on those. Being present in what you are doing right now is so important, us, as humans tend to think and look in the future, getting what's going on now right, is going to help and get us to the future so it is important.
