I have talked a lot about journaling before in previous blog entries. However, I will never stop talking about it because it is truly life changing. I have journaled every single day for the last 6 years, I switch up the time of day, but I have multiple journals for separate entries. For example, in the morning I will set my intentions and thank God for allowing me to wake up that morning and practice gratitude. In another journal I write everything I want to manifest; I speak in the future tense and practice gratitude that way. For example, I will thank God or the universe for the car I am driving that day (get specific), I will thank him for my morning routine that my flexible job allows me to do. I will talk about where I am living and where I am traveling, the relationship I have with myself and with others. Speaking and practicing gratitude this way is so magical because you can visualize it, and you can believe your literal “dream” life and that is the definition of manifestation.
Self-reflection is so important and leads you to love and move through life so much more purely and with good intentions. Self-reflection will allow you to connect with yourself and feel safer within your own body to know WHO you are. It will teach you to not waste time or energy reacting to things that do not serve a purpose in your life and create space to not let them consume you. Understanding fully and being reminded daily that we are literally the writers of our own life, things happen to us because we choose that and we choose how to deal with things, we are never doing anything against our will, we make these choices ourselves and its okay to make mistakes but we need to learn and improve daily.
