What's in my summer bag?

During the summer I feel like everything in my purse/ bag just switches out and becomes brand new. There are many different things that are so in the moment during the summertime and it is great to always be prepared and have everything that you would need! Whether you carry a purse around or just a bag, most of this stuff will fit and is great to keep in it! I like to carry a purse, but I have a big enough one that if I wanted to keep a bikini in it I could, just cause I like to always have one with me I the summer. Below are items that I carry in my summer bag!

Moisturizer

A good travel size face moisturizer for me is such a must to carry everywhere I go in the summertime! my face can get to dry, start pealing because of the heat, and super flaky because of sunburns which is the worst. I always like to have a good moisturizer I can put on quickly when I can feel my face getting dry, I highly recommend one with any type of SPF in it also. I am always using SPF moisturizers, year round not just in the summer because even if it isn't sunny out it is crazy how good SPF is for your skin! Any moisturize with SPF works, can find one from any drug store, or Sephora/ Ulta too. I use SunBum Moisturizer.

Sunglasses

Sunnies are always important in the summertime, and not just to look cute and boujee, but to protect your eyes. Many of us really downplay how much our eyes are getting damaged from the sun especially if you are in it a lot, without protecting your eyes.

Chapstick

Chapstick is on me 24/7! I am putting this on my lips all the time to keep my lips moisturized and not dried out. In the summer, however, again I make sure to get one with SPF in it. Our lips can get burnt too, and it is actually very easy for them too because of the type of skin that is covering the outer layer. I use the SunBum chapstick with SPF in coconut and Blistex.

Highlighter

Always carrying highlighter with me, To put a quick touchup on the inside of my eyes to brighten myself up, or to apply to my brow bone and cupids bow to give myself a summer glow look! I have talked about this product multiple times in my posts, but I use the ColourPop highlighter.

Perfume Stick

I carry a perfume stick me most of the time in my purse, during the summer I carry a more beauty scent though. It is great to spray before going to the beach or pool, even dinner, it's always a win, win smelling good and feeling fresh.

Deodorant

I am always in a rush, and no joke probably forget to put deodorant on 60% of the time. If I didn't have a mini deodorant in every single one of my bags I don't even know what I would do! Great for summer especially for when the heat gets the best of us!

Makeup Wipes

These are really great to have in the summertime because honestly, there is nothing worse than an in the moment decision to go the beach or pool with a full face of makeup on. I always carry makeup wipes with me in the summertime in case this happens so I can take my makeup off if needed, never a cute look when you are having a great time in the water and there's mascara everywhere.
