The mind is the most powerful thing in the world. The mind is what generates ideas, dreams, feelings. What you think of is what you become, the way you view situations is what shapes you. The things you think are what you believe. Once you generate a belief system you become loyal to that and that is a good and a bad thing. If you believe that you can succeed even if you're not at a place you could ever see yourself succeeding right now, eventually you will succeed. If you see yourself being healthy and getting out of the situation you're in right now, eventually you will be out of that situation. Fake it till you make it is such an underrated statement that is the truest thing you could ever believe. Because visualizing and pretending you have the life you have always wanted is the first step to getting that life. Most people don't visualize the life they dream of because they don't believe they are worthy. They can't even visualize it so how are they going to get it and how do they know they even want it? Once you visualize it they see how amazing it is, they can never go back, they will work until they get it and then it's onto the next dream. Replace saying “I want” with “I am blessed to have” this will change everything for you because your belief system will shift from wanting to knowing that you already have what you want. You're in control, no one else is going to make these opportunities for you, you have to take action if you want your life to change. If you want something you've never had, you have to do something you've never done. Your brain plays as a computer and your self talk is a program that runs 24/7. It takes awhile to understand and it is scary to go about but our whole life is a blank canvas and we are painting what happens next. It is also important to understand that what you want and what you are praying for is right around the corner. What you're going through right now may be the preparation for your dreams. It is seemingly hard at times to remember all of this and stay in a place of hope and positivity. I recommend journaling and mediating on this every single day. Making time for this is so important and if you don't have time to focus on your true goals and passions then maybe it is time to find another goal that matters more to you.
